“Gorgeous atmospheric folk” (Pitchfork) captures this. Female singer songwriter, solo project from her other band Red Sparrowes. Heavy use of reverb, slow trippy spooky sentiments – springs from emotional problems, suffering. Play with Tara Jan O’Neil, Grouper, 4AD stalwarts from 80’s, His Name is Alive, Dead Can Dance, The World of Skin, Swans.

1) (1:43) looping layers of vocals, sounds backwards, trippy
2) (3:32) strumming upbeat guitar and vocals meshed into heavy reverb and distant atmopherics
3) (0:49) interlude of sorts, simple vocs sparse guit/bass
4) (3:55) upbeat almost, songlike accessible, nice upbat but somber – very 4AD with really good bass, epic, “Best song”
5) (4:42) minor, dark, acoustic guitar arpeggios, heavily dosed w/ atmospheric vocals, drums, etc
6) (3:42) heavily reverbed, distant, thunderous minimal drums, loping
7) (5:37) mostly quiet, solo guitar/vocs reverby atmospherics
8) (4:21) children of god swans hypnotic guitar strumming, nice embellishments, strings
9) (4:09) pretty, slow plodding, colorful
10) (4:42) big downtuned near-swans music, slow, ponderous
