Born in Tokyo is an ambient electronic album with virtually no lyrics, with the exception of a few very short interludes that include haunting but passion-infused voices. Slow tempo piano pieces that complete the strangely calming white noise and ambient sounds. No FCCs detected. Picks: 4,6,3 1. I'm Coming Home (From the Sky) 11:34 piano interlude, overlayed whispy synths. dreamy, distorted female vox. sudden dive into bassy, mechanical midsection 2. Reach for Me (Awake for the First Time) 14:06 mysterious intro with dark piano. light turn with droning synths. chill drum machine kicks and more fem vox. * 3. Strong Again (Teach Me to Feel) 11:38 Ambient synths, downtempo drum beats with tight snares. "And we believe that our love will surviveeee" * 4. We Love Together (It's Our World) 13:27 Similar to 3. Cool percussive patterns "why won't you say love" followed by sappy vocals 5. Two Hours to Forever (Just Ask Me, I'll Stay) 12:47 String intro. Metallic pipes produce ringing feeling in the ears.
