Haley Bonar a veteran singer songwriter brings us this great pop-rock record. Very much like Neko Case in that I feel like she could sing anything and I would love it. Hauntingly beautiful voice. RIYL: New Pornographers, Neko Case, Jeremy Messersmith & Communist.

Recommended Tracks: 1, 2, 5, 7

1. (3:30) Kill the Fun - Uptempo pop, infectious melody, feel good.
2. (2:23) No Sensitive Man - More post-punk feel instrumentation wise.
3. (4:01) Last War - Held down by the base like and a shuffling drum beat with some ambient warbles on the guitar and a more distant haunting vocal.
4. (4:20) Heaven's Made For Two - Another distant vocal, mid tempo, steady and almost heavy drums.
5. (3:00) From a Cage - Synthy notes on the keyboard and harmonizing vocals and a minimal beat.
6. (3:17) Woke Up In My Future - Uptempo rock.
7. (3:58) Bad Reputation - Beautiful melody great instrumentation.
8. (2:31) Can't Believe Our Luck - down tempo more folk rock
9. (4:52) Eat for Free - Acoustic guitar and haunting harmonic melodies.
