Oxnard, CA natives Sealions released this debut EP on Deer Bear Wolf. It is a great indie pop EP. Not totally cookie cutter with great melodies and cool sounds. RIYL: Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Cut Copy, M83, Metric, Empire of the Sun. FCC CLEAN!! Recommended Tracks: 1, 3, 5 1. (3:24) Honey - Super synthy, super catchy, headphone filling sound to start of the EP. 2. (4:14) Thieves - Mid tempo, distant feeling electropop 3. (4:26) Luster - This feels very POBPAH, upbeat, great instrumentation. Think this is my favorite. 4. (4:33) Diamonds - This one is to distorted for me to like it. Kind of boring. 5. (3:24) Setting Suns - Dont let the upbeat synth and drums fool you, this one is kind of depressing, and super good. | ||
