Album Review

This is the fourth album from sister duo The Ericksons. It was produced by Beau Sorenson (Death Cab, Bob Mould) and S. Carey (Bon Iver). Super mellow, super beautiful, great harmonies. I really enjoyed this record. RIYL: TEEN, Joan As Police Woman, Regina Spektor, Feist.

FCC CLEAN!!
Recommended Tracks: 1, 5, **6**, 8

1. (3:27) My Love - Mix between Postal Service (instrumentally) and somewhere between TEEN and Feist vocally...super pretty, mellow, love it.
2. (4:04) Go On - These vocals have the Regina Spektor quirk going for them. Downtempo, minimal, beautiful.
3. (4:16) Animal - More drum machine-y and synthy, very cool use of harmonies on this one.
4. (5:08) Bring Me Home - Super mellow, super minimal, more gorgeous harmonies.
5. (4:01) Borderline - Much more stripped down, focus on the vocals.
6. (5:40) Baby Tell Me - Mid/uptempo, super interesting melody, my favorite vocals on the album. This is my favorite for sure.
7. (3:17) Love Song - Uptempo, title says it all.
8. (4:40) Simple As This - This one is so cool, lots of variety in the instrumentation throughout. Great way to close out the album.
