Jeffrey Ziegler Something of Life Innova Mostly cello with some electronics and field recordings. Some are a little more experimental, others a little more classical *****1. (10:23) Quiet eerie strings, some quiet electronic buzzing and pings, all of a sudden dramatic violin melody develops echoes and devolves into electric guitar and cello. Dramatic, emotive, beautiful 2. (14:21) Xylophone, glockenspiel, lots of quiet percussion, cello, fractured samples of private conversations **3. (4:54) Frantic cello bowing "if everything feels like it's under control, then you are not going fast enough" **4. (8:19) Slow solo cello bowing like the cello part of a Philip Glass string quartet.
