Formed by Korn's touring guitarist, Shane Gibson, who died months before the release of the band's second album. Stork combines many different elements into their own unique avant-garde-esque style of Metal. While very different, the band's sound is not fully polished.... and this is probably what makes them appealing for me. Lacuna Coil meets your run-of-the-mill Modern Metal band.

1. The track jumps on the female-fronted bandwagon gimmick, but comes out ahead with cool guitar work and interesting tempo changes (3.5 out of 5)
2. Chaotic and weird... not the best in this album. How do you know when a band does not know how to finish a track? they fade out the ending... (1 out of 5)
3. WOW, very different sounding female vocals open this track before the signature riffs of the band come back. A bit repetitive, but the mixture of vocal styles makes this one quite enjoyable. (3.5 out of 5)
4. Heavy proggy track. VK Lynne's vocals get a bit annoying at times, but the music is quite enjoyable (3.5 out of 5).
5. Funky melodic passages and Sludgy/Doomy riffs = excellent song. (4.5 out of 5)
6. Djent-styled track.... bleh, this is one genre that we can't stand because it all sounds the same. (0 out of 5).
7. Goth-ish song with some Progressive Modern Metal elements. The band is surely trying to incorporate ALL genres of Metal into their music and they do a good job with this one. (3.5 out of 5)
8. Probably the most experimental track in this release, tons of tempo changes and vocal experiments. Very unique and entertaining. (4 out of 5)
9. Crazy guitar leads, reminding us a bit of Echoes of Eternity and similar North American bands. (3 out of 5)
10. Excellent instrumental. (4 out of 5)
11. Nice vocal melodies surrounded by powerful guitar riffs. (4.5 out of 5)
12. Killer guitar solos make this one very enjoyable. (3.5 out of 5)
13. Mellow closing track with lush acoustic guitars and moody vocals. (4.5 out of 5)
