Yessuh! Trip Lee's Rise is a rap/hip-hop album that is authentic lyrically and awesome musically from start to finish. Innovative rhythms, instrumentation, vocal accompaniment, audio effects, and rap collaborations come together well on every song. If you have never heard Trip Lee before, you should know these facts: first, he is from Texas, y'all! Second, true to the Reach Records mission to spread the Gospel of Jesus, Trip addresses different topics: being a rapper, fatherhood, pornography addiction, fighting sickness. *Favorite Tracks: 1,2,4,5,9, 11,13,14. NO FCC Violations. Album reviewed by Christina Erwin, 'Lift Jesus Higher!' staff.

**1- [3:19] Med; Electronic vocal chorus transitions to cinematic marching anthem beat; (Title track).
*2- [5:04] Med; Starts with electronic vocal, transitions to African-type rhythm ends with piano solo and female r&b vocal and male vocal effects
3- [3:49] Starts Med, builds to Med Fast; distorted keyboard sound; west coast rap sound; synth symphony
*4- [4:08] Med; feat. LeCrae; Crazy nursery sounding piano and grindy beat; gun shooting sounds throughout
**5- [5:09] Med-fast; Starts slow with electronic effect on vocal from Christon Gray (he is throughout the song on the chorus)
6- [1:32] Rapper LeCrae talking about Reach Records beginnings to now. Sounds like the recording of a phone interview
7- [4:32] Med fast; Piano melody; child/female chorus; upbeat song
:) 8- [4:08] Med fast; Keyboard and male vocal (Dimitri McDowell); Song sounds like a faster version of "Computer Love" with pop music elements
*9- [3:51] Med fast; Rhythmic horn; Heavy rap bass, feat. Andy Mineo and female vocal for chorus
10- [1:17] Slow med; Latin male chorus and percussion; Italian style strumming on the mandolin, heavy beat and drum
*11- [4:42] Med; (feat. Bizzle) Reminds me of the opening song for an 80s crime show that transitions to a thumping rap beat; funky audio effects
12- [3:54] Med slow; Starts female vocal (Natalie Lauren) and electronic male vocal intertwined; R&B beat and style
*13- [3:08] Med fast; Saloon style piano; Trip sing/raps on this one; has an upbeat feel and tone
**14- [5:08] Med slow; Male vocal (Dimitri McDowell). Plucking strings throughout, violins and symphony, female vocal (Leah Smith)comes in toward the end.
