Music For The Celestial Din by Garek Jon Druss was conceived as an accompanying audio component for a live performance and an installation consisting of sculptures and drawings first exhibited at the Hedreen Gallery in Seattle, Washington in the fall of 2013. According to the artist, “The frequencies 396HZ, 417HZ, and 528HZ were chosen for the performance and sound/site installation because of their reported human response.” Music For The Celestial Din consists of a restructured and extended studio version of the installation’s original audio component. The Celestial Din has also been remixed by two other artists, Pete Swanson and Ben Chisholm.

Recommended Tracks: 1, & 2

Side A
1. (17:55) *The Celestial Din – slowly emerging synth driven intro that morphs into reverberating noise then a quiet ambient-instrumental-darkwave piece. Distorted noises, droned repetitive tribal sounds, and then sophisticatedly recorded appliance blasts until they all fade away.

Side B
2. (07:17) **The Celestial Din - [Pete Swanson Remix] – Dense pulsating synthesizer driven interpretation full of echoing sounds and a weird distorted continuous beat. Best track.
3. (11:04) The Celestial Din - [Ben Chisholm Remix] – Similar in structure to the original but more dramatic. A computer-manipulated machine running out of power recording for ending.
