Some great tracks on this debut album by trumpeter Josh Bruneau. Tracks swing with the energy of horns. He is one of best young trumpeter to come along recently. Straight ahead jazz. No FCCs
All the tracks are great.

1 Fuller’s Blues 5:47 - Uptempo, hot and energetic
2 The Owl Shop 6:33 - Mid-tempo, very hip with time for everyone to solo
3 Hard to Find 6:45 - Slow to mid-tempo. Long opening bass line, then begins to gently swing.
4 Bright Idea 8:30 - Picture yourself at the Newport Jazz Festival, sailboats and yachts in the shore. Great swinging tune. Drumming solo about a minute before the end.
5 You Don’t Know What Love Is 7:11 - Slow and melancholy
6 Theme for Kereem 8:27 - Fast and popping.
7 For Tomorrow 9:45 - Slows it down. Lazy swoops on McCoy Tyner’s classic
