Avante experimentalist Ambarchi teams with free jazz styled drumming. Two long pieces recorded live, both begin and end quiet but meander a course of volume, walls of lush feedback and drones. Kick ass.
1) (24:29) begins quiet with ride cymbal beat and mourning low drones, feedback, builds intensity with drumming, approaching midway its a verified wall of sound, crazed drums, feedback melodic tones, devolves into madness noise then chills into the end
2) (41:42) begins with very quiet plucking sounds, builds subtle with machine like sounds, ride cymbal beat appears too, maintains a chillness for some time, midway it all ramps up as before, free jazz styled drumming with loads of feedback drones, lush, last ten min a slow denouement
