Fredrico Brito's "Hot Club of The Americas," is infused with Latin flavors. Overall, it is mellow & pleasant album. Percussion is not generally part of Hot Club bands, but this one has percussion.

Britto is a well-known violinist from Uruguay and he brings his brand of music to this album.

This album is for you if you like Hot Club and Latin music think Cuban & Brazilian.

1. Re-imagining this 1921 song Sheikh of Araby with Latin flavors. Delightful.
2. Complex & deliciously delghtful.
3. Soft, mellow & romantic.
4. Djangology - clearly paying tribute to Django Reinhardt. You hear the musical spirit of Reinhardt & Stephan Grappelli in this number.
5. Iconic Edith Piaff song re-imagined in English by Cécile McLorin Salvant. The Latin/hot musical embroidery works. Play it.
6. Fantastic percussion work in this track. Percussion takes center stage.
7. Pleasant track (reminds you of 1960s Peter Sellers films).
8. This version of the 1930 song "Exactly Like You" reminds you of Reinhardt/Grappelli's music. Lovely.
9. Reinhardt's original song Nuages re-imagined. Mellow/pleasant.Reminds you of a gentler time minus cell phone, FB, Twitter, Snapchat etc :-)
10. Fats Waller's Honeysuckle Rose with a gentle Latin flavor.
11. Gentle track with just a hint of sadness that fades away.
12. A second version of Edith Piaff's iconic song by Cécile McLorin Salvant. This time is in French. Play it.
