Romanian trio, producing some quality electronica combined with a darker edge. All tracks have enough beat behind them infused with an industrial flavour to please most. Female vocals add that haunting quality. (English lyrics)
Like: The Glove, Portishead, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode (Violator/Songs of Faith & Devotion LP’s) Duke Spirit. All worth a play. In particular: 1,2,4,6,
No FCC’s
1) Everything From Above (5.40) Slow & delicious – Beat keeps it driving along.
2) Disappearance (4.05) Darker tones with a brooding underbelly.
3) Collide (4.44) A pop-ier track – Softer yet still with a pulse. Speeds up late on.
4) Sudden Acts (3.54) Moodier vocals with a more gothic take. Mid paced. Nice.
5) Anima (4.21) Bouncy dub steppy opening. Loses it way when the pop sound takes over.
6) Dimension Dive (2.47) Slow acoustic pixie like quality. Brass band loveliness to finish - The highlight for me.
7) Disappearance (Officers Remix) (4.42) Dreamier version with added distortion.
8) Collide (Hologram Emperors Remix) (4.03) Slower more restrained version until the last quarter, gets upbeat quickly. Slow all the way would have worked.
9) Sudden Acts (Liar Optimix)(5.01) Doosh doosh. Effects lead the way. Then changes direction, slow paced with keys leading the way, until pulsing upbeat finish.
