Jessica Reedy has a great set of pipes, a lot of range and a very distinctive sound to her voice- also, her runs are amazing.  The songwriting is very honest. Much of the album is slower in tempo, but that is where she really shines. Her style fits somewhere in the range between Traditional Gospel and Neo-Soul, but she could probably transition into other styles and genres as well because of how awesome her voice is. She plays around with the sounds of Motown in a fashion reminiscent of some of the best of that era. I thoroughly enjoyed most every track on this album. with my absolute favorites being 7, 8, 1, 2, 4, and 8.  No FCCs.  Reviewed by Daniel of LJH.

**1) 3:38 - Slow, basic instrumentation including a guitar (plucked beautifully) and background vocals and a drum kick. Very nice, mellow sound.
**2) 5:08 - Slow/Med tempo.  Organ, drums, electric piano, bass guitar and horns.  Gospel-ly/Old R&B sound (Think Smokey Robinson, that Motown kind of sound).
*3) 5:13 - Very slow, meditative start.  Piano/Synth and finger-snapping, building up with an organ and electric guitar into the chorus.
**4) 2:42 - Slow tempo.  Jazzy/neo soul sound.  Piano, drums and bass guitar.  Can't let everything get to you.
*5) 5:57 - Slow.  Electric guitar and electric piano create an almost old-school R. Kelly sound (think You Remind Me, or any of his love songs or more recently, "Shut Up" for "feel" equivalents).
*6) 5:24 - Slow.  Piano chords used and the heavy toms and marching style snares bring out the deepness and the struggle and frustration, along with the perspective shift necessary described in this song describes. Sounds like there might also be a string of some sort, a violin, maybe.
***7) 5:22 - Med/Slow - Piano and acoustic guitar, along with what resemble bongos carry this extremely vulnerable, neo-soul tune. Faint snapping sounds can be heard in the bridge.
**8) 4:41 - Med/Slow - Drums, pianos and electric bass are the main instruments here.
9) 4:27 - Med.  Gospel sound complete with organs, drums, electric guitars and horns. Musicians are killing it on this one.  Pretty funky groove.
10) 2:32 - Slow. Heavily reverbed drums and an eery guitar coupled with I believe to be a harmonica gives this a bluesy feel.
*11) 5:50 - Slow. Synth breaks into a an almost Stand By Me sound (RIP Ben King); electric guitar, drums, piano and bass guitar.
*12) 3:38 - Med/fast.  More 90's R&B (think Mary J. Blige) with some special guest appearances. Real music and instrumentation including an organ or electric piano, drums, bass guitar.  Again, a real funky groove.
13) 3:45 - Med/Slow.  True gospel sound.  Drums, organ, and drums.  Clapping heard on this track make it sound a live performance.  Quite possibly an electric guitar (or again, could be the organ) rounding out the sound.
