This is the second record from Tanlines. File this in my very favorite category of feel good sunshine indie pop. Killer melodies, lots of synth, you know the genre. RIYL: Blocparty, Grouplove... FCC CLEAN! Recommended Tracks: 1, 2, 4, 9 1. (3:53) Pieces - Love this song, huge sound, great melody, cool variation in instrumentation. 2. (3:29) Slipping Away - Uptempo, bouncy, another infectious track. 3. (4:26) Palace - Harmonies, cool drum beat, head bobber. 4. (4:14) Two Thousand Miles - Lots and lots of synth. 5. (3:33) Invisible Ways - Guitar strumming, more mellow. 6. (4:13) Bad Situations - Mid-tempo groove. 7. (4:06) Running Still -Mid-tempo, another catchy melody. 8. (3:31) Thinking - Synthy, cool drums, but a little boring for me. 9. (4:43) If You Stay - Really like this one, reminds me of their first record. 10. (3:44) Darling Dreamer - Mid-tempo, another great one. | ||
