Deradoorian, (Angel Deradoorian), is possibly best known for being in the Dirty Projectors. She is LA based and this record is her second. It is super mellow, almost psychadelic with influences from many different types of world music in the instrumentation. She has a beautiful voice. I get a bit bored when listening to the album all the way through just because it is so sleepy, but each song individually is really good. Play and enjoy!

Recommended Tracks: 1, 3, 6

1. (3:31) A Beautiful Woman - Mid tempo 60s vibe, echoey chorus.
2. (4:26) Expanding Flower Planet - Slower and sleepier, simple and pretty.
3. (5:34) Violet Minded - Cool keyboard sound, and layers of vocals, Dirty Projectors sound!
4. (4:38) Komodo - This one is almost a chanting song, super weird instrumentation, cool and creepy.
5. (5:40) Your Creator - Minimal, backing voice track, feels a bit like you are on a merry-go-round
6. (4:55) The Invisible Man - More up beat, rock drum beat, vocal distortion.
7. (2:56) DarkLord - Stumbling along, more cool vocal harmonies.
8. (4:58) Ouneya - Organ and tom drums, more of a chanting song again.
9. (3:37) The Eye - Upbeat and weird, more of the same.
10. (6:05) Grow - Acoustic guitar and vocals to close out the record.
