This is the debut EP from Meg Mac out of Sydney, Australia. I really like it, soulful and unique. I like all of the songs except track 3. RIYL: Amy Winehouse, Adele, St. Vincent. FCC: Track 5 Favorites: **2**, 1, 4 1. * (3:04) Roll Up Your Sleeves - Killer vocals, the piano part is dangerously close to Let It Be, but man that vocal talent is undeniable, super soulful. 2. ** (3:13) Every Lie - This could almost be a Laurent Hill track, cant put my finger on who else it reminds me of (St. Vincent maybe?) but WOW, this one is incredible. 3. (4:03) Grandma’s Hands - This one is not my favorite, a little too weird. 4. *(3:42) Turning - Another beautiful track, drums piano and vocals at the beginning and then layers build in, simple, awesome. 5. FCC SHIT (3:07) Known Better - This really reminds me of Adele or Amy, great. | ||
