Local SF band, recently played on WNL. Female fronted indie rock, pleasant and well performed, recorded. Natalie Merchant springs to mind here and there in her lilting vocals. Nice stuff with dual guitar bass drum and tasteful strings thrown in. 1) (2:44) waltzy minor toned, near acoustic ballad for good part but kicks in w strings and full band, lush and beautiful 2)* (4:54) triplet bigger sound that grows epic, the "hit" 3) (4:43) big epic soaring 3 chord near instrumental 4) (4:04) mellow and pretty but builds, Natalie Merchant comes to mind in vocals at least once 5) (2:27) mellow and pretty. | ||
