Local recent Weds Night Live band: indie rock, high end stuff. Female vocs that soar and smack of Siouxsie, well played guitar bass drums with a certain 80's synth. Slick in places, raw in others. Great anthemic hooky stuff. Like if there was still a viable music industry they'd be huge. 1)* (2:19) driving soulful urgent vocals and tone 2) (4:19) 80's synth and ballad feel to this, shifts to a cheesy reggae thing later 3)* (3:09) nice lilting rock slightly shoegaze with reverb on guitar cleanly played 4) (3:42) driving and desperate, they do this well 5)* (3:08) poppy and reminds me of the early 80's or something, watching MTV and entertainment tonight, TJ Hooker 6) (2:53) bouncy new wave for sure 7)* (3:03) big epic bashing anthemic 8) (3:59) beautiful with the synth, dramatic and lovely 9) (4:44) mellow and ballady 10)* (3:29) lilting nice driving melodic feel 11) (4:53) epic with quiet and louder parts | ||
