Exhaustion’s latest recording, Phased Out, is an EP containing two original tracks and two mixes – one for each song. The Melbourne noise rock trio, who describes their sound as “Antipodean harsh pub psyche,” gets loud and distorted under a continuous tribal beat channeling the intensity of early 1980’s New York no wave. Believable. RIYL: Sightings, Swans, Lightning Bolt, A Place To Bury Strangers, and 1980’s Sonic Youth. FCC CLEAN! Recommended Tracks: 1, 2, 3, and 4 1.
