Avante prog rock, mixes folk rock 20th century classical and jazz. Been active since 1982, think Henry Cow, Art Bears, Birdsongs of the Mesozoic, and Cuneiform label mates such as the recent Miriodor, Chrome Hoof. Complex beats, acoustic instrumentation usually associated with downtown jazz with a definite electric rock element and melodic dissonant female vocals reminiscent of Dog Faced Hermans. Great stuff.

1)* (7:17) complex beat dissonant yet melodic, proggy very cool, ends quiet
2) (3:11) pensive, upbeat
3)* (4:41) slow dark plod, strange ending
4)* (11:46) begins w kalimba then a slow creeped out beat and dissonant piano, multifaceted and bizarre
5) (7:14) more moody multifaceted stuff, epic breakdown midway leads to some spazzing out
6) (5:30) eastern folk feel
7)* (7:39) plodding guitar strummy downtuned dissonant bass, gorgeous
