Local trio bashing out kick ass punk fueled noisy post punk garage. UK sounding male vocs have a slight pistols sneer adding to the 70's punk tone. But it's all mixed up with surf, garage, 80's darkness, and contemporary noise rock. Great stuff of course from Castle Godheadface. Live recording with most tracks leading into each other - ends of songs are often long noise intros to next so pot down or play together. 1) (2:48) noisy synth/guit intro then midway just launches into epic punk fueled noise garage 2)* (2:20) primo drivin'! Noise outro leads into next 3) (2:29) weird dissonant surf, noisy outro introduces next song, pot down or play w next 4) FCC? 5) (3:02) cool noisy 80's feel in deep bass and post punk disjunct beat 6) (1:16) fun galloping punk beat. 7) (3:10) "weird" slow intro then launches into cool punk, faded out. 8) (2:33) urgent surfy noise rock 9)* (4:12) cool stripped down surf 10) (1:48) urgent punky 11)* (1:49) urgent again, I like the guitar down strumming 12) (1:11) hauling ass punk almost hardcore, beautiful, like husker du playing surf 13) (2:25) upbeat rockin fun 14)* (3:19) lovely 80's tribal with big strong bass, like Siouxsie and the Banshees splashed with acid. | ||
