Cohesive and straight-up modern blues soul material. Predictable, too standard for my taste, but solid arrangements makes for a laid-back fun wedding-band vibe. I dig the horn solos.
Favorite tracks 9!, 11, 8, 7, 6, 5, 3

1. A River's Invitation (6:09) Textural melodic Bluesy rock song to the river
2. When It Was Wrong (3:34) 70's soul track
*3. Brokedown (6:07) Percussive soul track with a few jazz licks thrown in
*4. Cry Baby Blues (4:53) Slower quieter gentle track, interesting trumpet solo.
**5. Jolie (3:49) Caribbean reggae beat and feel to the echoey vocals & keyboards.
**6. Crazy Girls (3:57) Fun upbeat track, handclap beat, syncopated playing.
**7. On A Rainy Day (3:39) Slow laid back groove, pretty for a rainy day.
**8. This Time (4:44) Most unique arrangement musically, like the textures.. almost world-beat.
***9. Lead Me Home (3:55) Slow-swinger last-slow-dance-of-the-night. Mostly Instrumental, a couple words at 3:15 mark
10. Rockaway (4:15) Mid-tempo.. rolls along soul.
**11. Long Way (5:40) Mid-tempo, less lyrics better horn solos than most tracks.
