Son of Frank, apple doesn't fall far from the tree: layers of strange orchestrated prog meets weird rock meets orchestral, world influences, jazz. All with that kinda insolent feel that was Frank. Fans of Primus and all the weird stuff that they and their side projects did will love this madness. Even an element of Weird Al - in the vocal harmonies (don't laugh: Al's music is brilliant if you've yet to discover).

1)* (5:07) totally Frank 70's era prog with arrangements, Apple not falling far from tree here, instrumental 2)* (2:41) swingy weird with vocals 3)* (5:27) "hard rock" spoof of satan or is it D&D? 4) (3:26) FCCs 5) (2:38) poppy and therefore weird, almost Weird Al 6) (5:40) prog rock, mellow in the vocs 7)* (3:48) loungey smarmy surfy guitar picks up 8) (5:08) begins w nice classical arrangement then falls into a lovely slow ballady w arrangements, instrumental kinda wanky 9) (4:04) poppy and a love song 10) (3:47) bar blues band feel, slick poppy, there's that Weird Al again 11) (4:50) sax and slick guitars kinda cheesy 12) (3:26) goofy weird al for sure, mariachi horns, silly tone but good social commentary
