James Ferraro / experimental musician. lyrics about grimy cityscapes and stuff burning on a freeway in LA. auto tune. weird. 90s samples. FCC Tracks: 3. Recommended Tracks: 2, 4, 8, 12
1. Burning Prius (For the World) (1:34) AI security system commands malfunction and a sad orchestra. Sirens and retro TV adverts of some sort.
* 2. White Bronco (4:33) Dark, retro, funny/deadpan lyrics, a little cheeky
3. Pollution (3:48) *FCC "fuck" at 2:30. Distorted sounds, some bass, autotune everywhere
* 4. Street Freaks (4:28) very Ariel Pink, though a little more jazzy
5. Million Dollar Man (1:14) "A treadmill burns quietly on the freeway," that kind of stuff
6. Thrash & Escalate (3:14) strange, discordant sounds, electric guitar, "sad boy" aesthetic, sirens
7. Skid Row (4:32) dramatic and off-putting intro, the rest isn't so bad, a bit melancholy, chill fade out
* 8. To Live and Die in LA (8:34) vapourwave + TV, slow motion, final scene of a low budget 80s action movie
9. Rhinestones (5:33) mellow, 90s soul + r&b things going on
10. Doctor Hollywood (6:54) TV, handclaps, 80s teen drama soundtrack
11. 1992 (4:19) melancholic piano, violins, newscasters
* 12. Sentinel Beast (4:54) more newscasters and sirens, ariel pink vibes, breakdown
13. At the Beach (3:19) waves, acoustic + electric guitar, violins, sirens and newscasters
