The Grascals “And Then There’s This . . .” Label: Mountain Home Music Company Joseph Reviewed 2/1/16 Excellent new release from the Grascals, more traditional bluegrass style like their earlier recordings. 1 – (3:04) I Know Better* Fine up-tempo lost love lament, excellent. 2 – (3:43) Road Of Life* Mid-tempo reflective song, very nicely done. 3 – (2:43) Sweet Little Mountain Girl* Mid-up-tempo, traditional style. 4 – (3:04) True Hearts Decent mid-tempo romantic ballad. 5 – (2:52) Old Friend Of Mine* Slow ¾ time, nostalgic, fine. 6 – (2:48) Warm Wind* Fine mid-up love lament, great group harmonies. 7 – (3:42) If You Want Me To Decent, slower love appeal, sad. 8 – (2:36) Delta Queen* Up-tempo riverboat song, fun. 9 – (2:45) I Like Trains* Title says it all, fine playing & singing, bouncy mid. 10 – (2:50) Autumn Glen Good mid-tempo instrumental, kind of Celtic style. 11 – (3:26) A Place To Hang My Hat* Excellent slow ballad about poverty. 12 – (2:27) Highway Of Sorrow* Fine, powerful version of Monroe classic! | ||
