Journey into the ethereal, underwater world of Alec Koone’s mind on Child Death. Under the stage name Balam Acab, Koone crafts ghostly hip-hop beats with glimmering strings and shining vocals. Slow-paced and epic, the album features many songs that grow into gorgeous, intricate collages with many sections, movements, and climaxes. Shoegazey synths wash over intriguing vocal sampling and quirky instrumental beats.
