Album Review

This is the debut EP from MIGHTY out of Atlanta, GA. This 5 song EP was recorded in 5 days in singer Angelo Fiaretti's kitchen. Gordon Keiter from All Get Out plays drums, and Grouplove's Daniel Gleason rocks bas guitar and keys. It is pretty great. 90s-esq indie rock, great melodies, urgent lyrics, simple and short songs. Really like it cover to cover.

Favorites: ALL (but you can't play 4 or 5)!! Seriously. But you can start with 3 and 1.

1. (2:16) Fingertip - Love this track, great melody, clever lyrics, and I think this guy's voice is super interesting.
2. (3:04) Confederate Days - Another awesome song, really cool variation of instruments and tempos.
3. (2:33) Other Kids - Fades out of the previous track, I can hear the group love influence in this track, awesome transitions, great polyrhtyms, one of my favorites.
4. FCC SHIT (3:40) Losing Things - Mid-tempo, cool distorted guitar in the background, love love this one, but you can't play it :(
5. FCC SHIT/fuck (3:36) Holy Book - Driving drum beat, loud guitars, really cool track, falls and builds throughout, another great one.
