Second EP from Guides, really really good. Pretty straightforward indie rock sound. A lot of fuzz and a kind of dark feel throughout. This one also came out at the end of last year.
FCC CLEAN!
Favorites: Pick any song and you will be happy. My favorite is track 2.
1. (3:39) Abstract Head – Distorted vocals, killer instrumentation, awesome mid-tempo, darkish indie rock track.
2. (3:27) Pictures On Pictures – Slightly faster paced, another super great track.
3. (2:49) Long Face – Another great track, more of the same, fuzzy, loud, and yet still somehow mellow.
4. (3:09) Midas Eye – Love love this guitar riff, yet another fantastic track.
5. (4:25) Get Conceptual – Nothing that different but this is still a great song.
6. (4:37) Leave Me Alone - Cover of the New Order song.
