Experimental atmospherics, drone. Famed, legendary orginal (and present again) guitarist for Swans lays down shimmery guitar effects that come across synthlike in their homogenous texture at times. Guitar cuts through though. Don’t expect any bombastic Swans… this is pure atmospheric serenity music. Three long tracks, no vocals (clean), built upon loopers, efx. Lovely. 1) (15:39) drone, pulsing, synth sounding serene but grows dissonant with flange effect as it progresses, ends 2)* (20:26) guitar shimmers, textured and lovely, mostly homogeneous but goes through moods, quiets down, esp toward end 3) (18:27) droney, not as shimmery as synthlike again, lovely
