Highly regarded Brazilian vocalist, Carol Saboya, daughter of composer Antonio Adolfo (himself a student of Nadia Boulanger in Paris), sings works composed by some of Brazil's most famous composers along with pop standards, including one Beatles song; nicely arranged

NO FCC's; all tracks are pleasant; Favorites: 4 , 8,

1- 5:42 – “Passerim,” – piano with flute flourishes; uptempo, pretty soprano voice

2-3:57 – “1x0” – uptempo, sounds like “choro” music, light, breezy

3 -4:36 – “Senhoras Do Amazonas” – a little slower

*4- 3:55 - “Hello Goodbye” – mellow version of the Beatles, in English, sweet singing, nice jazz interlude

5 -4:04 – “Aviao” – a little recitative, flute takes flight in interludes

6- 4:47 – “Fragile” – contemplative song sung in English; poetic lyrics

7-4:09-- “A Felicidade”-- soft, contemplative song in Portuguese; Brazilian beat

*8- 5:42 –“Ohla, Maria” – melody line edges from major to minor amid modulations

9 – 4:55 – “Faltando Um Pedaco” – “Love is a big loop/A step to a trap....

10—3:54-- “Zanzibar” – uptempo with scat singing at start
