1. Mid-fast light latin feel featuring clarinet (7:12)
2.Starts mid-fast, disjointed voices in cool counterpoint, then harder straight blues rock. Mixes the two, 2.5 minute drum solo, then outro similar to intro (9:29)
3. Mid-slow cool jam. Straight drum, rich piano voicings, breathy trumpet lines. Violin takes a solo (5:26)
4. Mid straight. Intro pentatonic folk pizzicato violin. Horns come in, then piano at 1:30 with huge arching lines. Violin, trumpet, clarinet solos. Outro with nice homophony. (7:25)
5. Intro mid tempo rock drums with trumpet, clarinet in unison. Falls into atonal piano/clarinet duo, then tutti. Gets back to the rock beat, still mostly atonal. Some awesome moments (5:36)
6. Slow ballad. Starts with trumpet melody over rock beat and simple piano and clarinet lines. Deconstructs to drums flourishing over simple piano parts, builds up to powerful ending, really shows off Miller’s drum chops (3:49)
7. Mid tempo light track overall. Introduces theme tutti with prominent drums, Huge piano solo, violin making strange (see: awesome), band reconvenes without drums to a totally different place than intro (5:58)
8. Mid but heavy. Intro homophonic horns in huge contrast to completely nuts atonal piano and hard drums. This cuts out to piano playing melody over simple drum beat. Then to similarly nuts violin solo over piano harmony and drums. Add voices until atonal piano comes back, huge build up then resolves to clarinet solo, pulling back into nothing (5:57)
9. Slow ballad (lullaby). Intro features bass over piano. Then legato trumpet over huge piano and drum flourishes. Band comes in underneath. Atmospheric, resolves to tasteful major chord (5:24)
10. Mid-slow. Minimalist rhythm clarinet and pizz violin intro, drum comes in with slow straight beat. Features clarinet and piano. Revisits themes from other pieces. Unique ending (6:08)
