Sisters of Mercy meets Wire. Local Castle Face band fuses accessible beats and sentiments with noise guitar and psych elements. SoM styled male vocs, crunchy/clean guitar and bass driven. Great stuff, more mature than their recent, previous release, would fit amongst Franz Ferdinand Ty Segal indie rock as easily as Wooden Shijps noise psych.

1)* (3:35) starts noisy then goes upbeat driving then breaks down half speed epic to end 2)* (3:19) nice mid paced minor toned contrasted with hopeful vocal melodies, not too noisy til some great guitar joins the fray 3) (2:59) somewhat surfy beat, feel 4)* (2:35) upbeat almost jangle rockin 5) (3:50) acoustic guitar folk ballad rock, minor keyed. 6) (4:39) dark driving, nice guitars, poppy 7) (4:15) upbeat driving more jangly 8) (3:07) almost a standard indie rock feel with a guitar hook and accessible vocal melodies 9) (4:37) pounding beat, big guitars, epic anthemic
