Blissful kosmische journeys in longform jazzy electronica. Hazy post-apocalyptic images of outer space / starlit California freeways at 3 a.m. No FCCs.

1. (18:24) **** Kuiper—Stormy, restlessly thrilling kosmische jam. Moody prog guitars, live-sounding drums, tight bass groove. Invites blustering outer space sounds at times. Arpeggiated synths, hypnotic tensions, and complex percussive textures unfurl spaciously with satisfying lulls and interludes. Song of the year.
2. (14:06) ** For Marmish Part II—The counterpart to “For Marmish” from Elaenia. Short, contemplative riffs on Rhodes piano with Steve Reich's kind of brevity. Massive kick drum interrupts the calm eventually. Clear and forthright.
3. (4:00) *** Kuiper (Radio Edit)—Takes the essential parts from the original track and condenses into a haunting James Ferraro ‘Skid Row’ kind of soundscape. Builds and climaxes wonderfully, similar to “Peroration Six” off Elaenia.
4. (3:13) ** For Marmish Part II (Radio Edit)—Totally different from the original track. Skyward, jazzy psychedelic ruminations. Heavy and deliberate. Dubby slowed-down beat and synthesizer.
