Seventh record from Australian band The Drones. One of my very favorite bands, great music, great stories, dark and imperfect. Another great record from these guys. Also, the original drummer is back, and he rules. FCCs: Track 2, Track 6, Track 10 Favorites: **3**, **4**, 7 1. (7:11) Private Execution - Huge amounts of ugly noise for the first 30 seconds, mid tempo track, super cool start to the record. 2. FCC Fuck (3:27) Taman Shud - Love this one! Super cool beat, but you can't play it. 3. (4:18) They Came For Me - ABSOLUTELY GREAT! Slowish, minimal instrumentation, great vocals, great lyrics...yeah one of the best on the record for sure. 4. (6:14) To Think That I Once Loved You - Down tempo, a very dark breakup song... 5. (5:32) Tailwind - A minute of instrumental noisiness, followed by a mid tempo track, cool harmonies. 6. FCC FUCK (3:23) Boredom - Cool track, upbeat, electric, you can't play it thought :/ 7. (3:56) Sometimes - Super weird track, female vocals, sounds kind of like a song you would hear at a creepy circus. Still a super cool track. 8. FCC FUCK (6:01) Shut Down Seti - Not my favorite track, still good thought. You can't play it though. | ||
