Later Iggy Pop comes to mind, kinda glammy slick swaggery rock w soulful and funky parts. A certain 70's power pop element too. John Cale, singer based stuff like that. Brian Ferry, Lou Reed, Tav Falco and The Panther Burns cocktail hour shows up later. Excellent.
