How to Dress Well -- Care

Domino Recording Company -- Released September 2016

Pop music with up-front melodic vocals, conveying emotion. Somewhere between R&B, pop, and ambient. Songs range from anthems of adult love, human frailty and hope. Polished, intelligent, melodic, and emotional.

Track 1 (4:34): I Can’t Tell You – Upbeat pop tempo with R&B feel.

Track 2 (6:36): Salt Song – More upbeat tempo. Foot stomping. “To feel my heart is my home, something to call my own.” Introspective.

Track 3 (4:39): What’s Up -- Conventional pop love song about undying love and eternal happiness

Track 4 (3:32): Lost Youth / Lost You -- Lament about lost love. Rollicking guitar solo with vocal tenderness

Track 5 (5:00): The Ruins – A downbeat song about tragedy and dashed hope. Slow. Some nice acoustic guitar picking mixed with electronica.

Track 6 (4:37) Burning Up – Tender vocals with delicious harmonies.

Track 7 (5:29): I Was Terrible – Up tempo. Upbeat “Love Will Find a Way”

Track 8 (4:30): Anxious – Catchy rhythm with excellent percussion. Very R&B. Could be on a pop radio station.

Track 9 (3:10): Time Was Meant to Stay – Begins with pinging percussion and vocals. Mournful vocals builds into enthusiastic chant. Sounds like fog horns and violins in the same song.

Track 10 (3:44): Made a Lifetime -- Mellow keyboards with jazzy horns picks up into a catchy rhythm, then fades. Mellow keyboards return.

Track 11 (5:49): They’ll Take Everything – Beautiful slow vocal with a broad range of background effects, keyboard, electric chimes, violin, and acoustic guitar.

Track 12 (4:49) Untitled – Flowing upright piano with beautiful vocal. Ethereal effects. Soothing.
