This group of three sisters with three other musicians from Oakland defies classification, there than Indie-Americana with influences of folk, pop, R&B and country. The vocal harmonizing is beautiful and aptly described as “transformative resonance”. Best for me were: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 10

1. med – folk voice with modern, hip country sound
2. med – interesting sound, somewhat like Motown
3. med – Bluegrass feel (Laurie Lewis produced their first album – an homage?)
4. slow – cabaret feel at beginning
5. slow – acoustic vocal harmonizing is amazing!
6. med – upbeat with beautiful singing
7. slow/med – bluesy tune
8. med – blues with harmony
9. med BG feel with expressive violin
10. med – acoustic accompaniment (clapping), background noises, recorded outdoors?
