Power pop, Brit Punk. Definite retro late 70's-early 80's New Wave
power pop punk damaged rock combo. Smacks heavily of Magazine,
Romantics, The Knack, Television and contemporaries, Jacuzzi Boys.
Pogo type driving beats abound with new wavey synth, but
reflective type ballads enter the fray. Sneering male vocs mostly but
tempered with slick harmonies and production. Great poppy rocking good time stuff. Tracks are all good, some are more harsher New Wave
Punk, others are more slick 70's power pop mellow.
1)* (2:42) urgent upbeat, very late 70's punk new wave. 2) (2:32)
synth drives this 3) (1:45) very urgent, synth playing octaves 4)
(3:30) minor toned more mellow, ballady 5) (2:56) even more ballady
strummy 6)* (3:47) urgent new wave returns, epic 7) (2:47) super slick
poppy with dense vocal harmonies and beat 8) FCC? I think an F-bomb
(therefore I am) 9) (2:17) poppy mellower than some, vocal harmonies
make it slick and safe 10) (2:16) urgent upbeat drving, grows intense
toward end 11)* (2:58) epic jangle power pop, perfect 12)* (3:10)
"been defective all along": starts kinda different and quiet but then
builds into a drving epic wall of sound, that ends, with a reflective
quiet outro
