Fans of early Swans, The Body, Wrekmeister Harmonies. Scream vocals place this with doom metal, but it's pure sonic sludge meanness. Heavy drop tuned guitar/bass, huge drums. This will cure your ills.

1) (11:23) comes out heavy driving pounding, midway does the quiet guitar thing, gets slow and sludgey. 2) (8:30) starts quiet but turns big head nodding sludge, pounding drums, simple, instrumental 3) (9:04) drop tuned bass is blowing out the speakers, ruining the fuzz box: slow intro then band joins, vocals return, much pain 4) (13:55) begins slightly more songlike, goes through moods, but all heavy and and bleak, midway false ending and quiet slow passage back, truly epic outro
