Castle Face (thee oh sees) springs what I dub something like Hipster Yacht Rock on us: slick groovy cool prog-fusion flavored rock that smacks of epic mid 70's ELO and the like. Wah wahs and phase shifters abound, fender Rhodes type keys, male vocs are romantic. Glam tinged funky cinematic. This is really trippy. What next from the mind of John Dwyer? 1) (5:57) rings of classic ELO, epic lush glam tinged cinematic rock 2) FCC. 3) (6:19) dreamy slow nodding romantic lava lights and incense. 4) (4:40) slick and upbeat with tones of 70's fusion prog, horn-synth and wah wahs galore 5) (5:20) another big smarmy cinematic smooth rocker 6) (4:41) slow and pretty with romantic licks, reminding me now of Seals And Crofts ("Summer Breeze") 7)* (5:17) this has a strange edge to it, bass driven w strong drums and a little noisy | ||
