JAZZ PIANO Impressive debut by piano prodigy and composer, Matthew Whitaker. At 15 years old, Whitaker has already performed at the Apollo theater, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, etc. The set here includes 7 originals and 3 covers. Rhythm section sometimes includes notables Will Calhoun on drums and Christian McBride on bass. No FCC issues. 1 Fast. Retro big-band swing-era style. Showy piano punctuated by horns.
