Psych space rock with Stoney edges. These guys have been around, a heavy cerebral rock band, and this new one is drenched in reverb and echo and takes it into the cool psych realm. Songs are long and epic, vocals understated.. Kick ass. For fans of Carlton Melton, Loop, Pink Floyd alike. 1)* (8:01) slow bluesy swing big wanky guitar leads low in mix are psych instead of stupid, cool echoey pink floydy organ break down, epic 2)* (5:33) slower plod, fuzz bass led, killer echo and fuzz abounds 3) (5:49) pensive ride cymbal type beat grows epic climactic. 4) (5:11) big soaring spacier feel 5) (4:47) Loop feel, hypnotic head nodder 6) (4:28) upbeat feel somehow yet dark with epic guitar leads 7) (6:13) huge bluesy sway with offbeat riffage. 8) (6:13) big cool Tom Tom tribal then falls into a cool groove. | ||
