Album Review

Old school hardcore punk a la So Cal OC Mystic Records, Frontier. Pop elements, but I use the word with caution cuz this is not "pop punk". Vocals smack of Ian (mackaye, minor threat) but music rings of early Bad Religion, Social D., Shattered Faith. Lyrics are old school super flex your head intellectual anti government political calls to revolution delivered with a musical rhythmic cadence. Really great, not cliche or predictable despite the recipe described above. Love this, reminds me of the joy of '82, Someone Got Their Head Kicked In.

1)* (3:18) bouncy so cal punk, call for revolution 2) (3:34) bop shoo bop: melodic vocal delivery more accessible less edgey, with a slow breakdown 3)** (3:05) I hate the government, great story telling and catchy chorus 4) (3:08) driving rockin 5) (4:12) different: "arty" as we used to say, with driving bass and guitar riffs, society don't look at me, slow breakdown 6)* (2:37) "riot" anthemic with surfy riffy guitar hooks 7) (4:30) new wavey punk feel to this with big driving bass 8) (8:36) big bouncy shuffle punk 9) (2:08) Aggression style hardcore song about codependace "addicted" 10) (2:52) upbeat bouncy fun hardcore.
