Scratch Acid, Big Black, Jesus Lizard come to mind: huge rock, with big bass, drums, crunchy guitar. Instrumental. Steve Albini would be proud but so would The Merman as a huge big surf twang element permeates. Pummeling but upbeat too. Rip roaring. Great.

1) (1:09) sparse dark intro, spooky 2)* (3:01) huge crushing bass, tribal drums, droning guitar turn big rock. 3) (3:07) more rock upbeat, still very heavy 4) (3:11) faster paced urgent 5) (3:15) driving w shades of Sonic Youth urgency 6) (2:58) big rockin with a slight surf twang guitar hook, minor keyed 7) (1:56) solo chill shoegazey guitar 8)* (3:38) big tribal pummeling, surf tones really coming out. 9)* (4:22) psych bass and dissonance 10)* (8:48) begins dissonant bass and big twang guitar, after 3:22 a crazy Mancini flavored spy surf Latin jazz appears 11) (2:20) dark, doom, surf doom!!
