Despite this being a themed album about loneliness, depression and anxiety, I found it upbeat, interesting and fun. Sallie’s has depth and a variety of sounds and her lyrics verge on being irreverent. Best: #1, 2, 5, 7, 8. 1. med- slightly funky blend of influences 2. med – oldies love song style with modern content in lyrics 3. med- more rockabilly style 4. med – Americana rock 5. slow/med – oldies sound 6. med – acoustic, chant/folk song, trying to be upbeat 7. slow – anthem / Indie rock, shows some vocal range 8. slow/med – unique beginning, male chorus, just guitar and snapping 9. med – Indie rock 10. slow – oldies vibe 11. med – Indie Rock with some Big Band instrumentation (trumpets?) | ||
