Simply put: Down Home Fun. And I wrote that before I heard #3, which is called “Down Home Girl”. Found playing in a subway by musical icon Doc Watson, this vocally dominant Americana band now located in Nashville has traveled the world, touring with some very big names, as well as having a regular gig at Grand Ole Opry. Best for me: #1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14.

1. med- sounds like good traveling song, mainly guitar, banjo, fiddle sounds
2. med/fast- upbeat country jig about cocaine
3. slow/med- country fun, vocals, harmonica dominate
4. med/fast- Bluegrass/country hybrid
5. med – BG ballad about a boy who went to Vietnam
6. slow – mainly vocals and guitar, with a harmonica echoing vocals
7. slow/med – BG hints in an almost spiritual
8. med – invite to a humdinger of a hoe down (if you’re not a folksinger)
9. med/fast – BG tune with some nice fiddling
10. slow – mellow country rock- **one of best on album
11. med – you can really hear all the different strings
12. med – country rock with down home sound
13. med – fun song, half in French
14. med – good song to end this rockin’ album
