A collection of diverse and (mostly) unknown musicians, derived from World Music Network’s “Battle of the Bands” competition.
Something for pretty much every world music lover, from hot African guitars to Yiddish music with a modern twist. Every track is worth a play, pick one at random, you can’t go wrong.

1. A Sicilian rock band, upbeat with an Arabic flair.
2. An Italian/Ethiopian blend w/gorgeous fem. Vox. Mostly mid
3. Polish, mid/upbeat jazz-funk. Great band, cool vox.

8. Fast, LA-based band. Blend of Brazil & indie rock. So good.
