Francis Cheer / Black White and Grey

Indie alternative with a very kickback and deep vibe. The vocals and acoustic guitar lead just about every track. The lyrics are poetic and dark while the guitar is often picking a lighthearted riff. Sounds like a dark Bon Iver at times, or a less instrumental The Head and The Heart. It’ll put you in a slower mood, but very easy to listen to and daydream with.

1*)(3:29) Title track: slower piano chords & catchy, smooth vocals 2)(3:09) Electric guitar driven, droney vocals 3)(4:06) Catchy chorus, upbeat and inspirational message 4)(3:45) Tortured, but catchy lyrics paired with a more uplifting guitar riff 5*)(3:18) Slower: spacey vocals with synth chords, grows into a lively track 6**)(3:53) Slow acoustic guitar plucking and vocal harmonies, good for wondering about the universe 7*)(3:28) Beautiful vocals and guitar, electric guitar added in second half 8**)(4:37) Palpable emotional longing, slow and pretty track
