Breadwoman & Other Tales

Rare recording unearthed: Early 70’s pure analog synth, beautifully layered using tape loops with female vocals/vocalizations also manipulated, looped and layered. The vocals are sung in a made-up language that sounds like an amalgam of something Slavic, Spanish (?). Its altogether hypnotic and gorgeous, and kinda trippy along the bizarre lines of The Space Lady, like this woman is not messing around. A testament to the simple beauty that results with rudimentary technology: in this instance, a 4 track ¼” tape machine, a microphone, and an old Moog.

1) (8:04) a simple mid paced beat mostly with vocs, joined in places with subtle cool tonebursts. 2)* (6:01) very quiet fade in: looping electronics, then vocal tape loops enter, loop layer 3) (5:34) cool urgent electro with vocs, most concise of the bunch. 4) (5:00) a cool dark krautrock tone to this, Tuxedo Moon comes to mind. 5)* (4:12) concise, very pretty 6)* (12:06) epic, play: simple strange microphone vocalization sounds, chill 7) (17:06) this is the most hypnotic thing you will ever hear in your life, just play it.
